The Greater
Ozarks Audubon Society (GOAS) is
partnering with BSFS to determine
what bird species can be found in
the Drury/Mincy Conservation Area.
The effort is being headed up by GOAS Board-of-Directors
members Lisa Berger (pictured right)
and Charley Burwick. Three sites
have been designated as permanent
observation sites, including a nice
glade in the Mincy area, and a
beautiful savannah in the Drury
area. The third site, also on Drury,
is the historic Frank Drury house.
GOAS has made two trips recently,
and members have identified over
fifty bird species.
