Bull Shoals Lake data

The Bull Shoals Field Station is located on upper Bull Shoals Lake.  The goal of the lake monitoring program is to collect long-term data that can be used to document lake eutrophication and phytoplankon community dynamics.  The monitoring protocol is designed to complement the Lakes of Missouri Volunteer Program (LMVP; see link below).  The upstream site  (Site 1) is located near K-Dock Marina and Site 2 is downstream of Bull Shoals Field Station.  Sampling events occur once every three weeks from April through September (data are sporadic in early 2007).

The BSFS staff collect depth profiles of water temperature, specific conductance, pH and dissolved oxygen with a multiprobe sonde (calibration data are available upon request).  Phytoplankton data are in process and will be added in the future.  All data are in Excel format (you can download an Excel viewer at http://www.missouristate.edu/plugins/excelviewer.htm)
